KJK Sports, the Luxembourg-based parent of the Elan, Zegul, Tahe Outdoors, Core Kiteboarding, Baltik Vairas, and SIC brands, has appointed Melanja Korošec as senior vice president of the company.
Korošec oversees the strategic development of the company’s brand portfolio, focused on driving innovation and strengthening brand equity and growth across all brands in its portfolio.
“With an impressive track record in brand development, strategic marketing and innovation, she brings a wealth of experience to KJK Sports, having held leadership positions in globally recognized companies, including her former role at Elan Group, where she successfully steered the growth of the iconic Slovenian sporting goods brand, and her most recent role as director of strategic marketing and innovation at Marles d.o.o., where she led the revitalization of the brand,” KJK said in a media release.
In addition to Korošec’s corporate leadership roles, she is vice president of the Slovene Ski Association and “widely respected for her ability to build, maintain and revitalize brands, as well as develop innovative strategies,” continued the company.

KJK Sports focuses on the active outdoor sporting goods segment with existing investments in Elan Group (winter sports, sailing), Tahe Outdoors Group (water sports) and Baltik Vairas (bicycles). The KJK Sports Group has an annual revenue of around €300 million and employs nearly 1,600 people in five European countries.
