ColdVentures, a medical device company focused on manufacturing portable emergency cooling devices to help people during heat-related emergencies, has inked a distribution deal with Medco Sports Medicine to bring its ColdVest technology to athletic trainers, educators and sports medicine professionals nationwide.
ColdVentures ColdVest is a patented FDA Class 1 portable cooling device designed to prevent heat-related brain or organ damage and fatalities by rapidly lowering a person’s core body temperature while waiting for emergency medical services.

For over 60 years, Medco Sports Medicine, based in Tonawanda, NY, has supplied athletic trainers and sports medicine professionals with solutions that support injury prevention, rehabilitation and emergency response. As part of its agreement with ColdVenture, Medco will be ColdVest’s exclusive distributor in the sports medicine market.
