Hornady has appointed Jason Slinkard as General Manager of its Tools Division, overseeing all design and manufacturing processes.
Slinkard joins the company with over 20 years of industry experience, having worked for Hoppe’s, RCBS, and Champion, to name a few. Most recently, he was the global product line director of Rimfire, Primers and Powder for CCI.
“Jason has an unrivaled level of industry expertise and experience that will undoubtedly benefit our company,” said Jason Hornady. “He has a long track record of success managing several brands within our industry. We couldn’t be more excited to have him on our team to lead our tools division,” he added.
Slinkard received a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from the University of Central Missouri. After college, he served as a master patrolman for the Warrensburg, MO, Police Department for six years. He maintains several instructor ratings for LE pistols, shotguns, and patrol rifles. He is also an NRA training counselor.
