Columbia Sportswear Company reports that EVP and Chief Digital Information Officer Skip Potter has left the company.
In his role, Potter was the digital product management and technology lead across all functions for Columbia Sportswear Company’s four brands—Columbia, Mountain Hardwear, Sorel, and Prana.
Columbia filed a Form 8-K with the SEC on January 6, 2025 to announce Potter’s departure. He joined the company in April 2021.
Before Columbia, Potter spent nearly five years working at Nike, Inc. as the company’s chief technology officer.
Columbia said it would launch a search for Potter’s replacement. In the interim, EVP and CFO Jim Swanson will oversee the company’s digital technology department.
