United Wheels (UW), the parent company of Huffy, Niner, Batch, and Buzz Bicycles, has appointed Chris King as vice president of brand and direct-to-consumer (DTC) marketing.
With over 25 years of experience, King is responsible for developing and bringing forth a comprehensive marketing strategy to enhance the brand’s perception, drive demand and expand DTC performance. Working closely with cross-functional teams, including product development and sales, King is to ensure a cohesive experience across all touchpoints for consumers.

King joined UW from Origin USA, where he was head of brand marketing and strategy. Before Origin, he was the founder and brand strategist for Ocean Park l/a/s, vice president of client marketing solutions for J.D. Power and senior marketing executive at Creative Arts Agency, among others.
