The Naval Academy Athletic Association and Under Armour have extended their partnership in a multiyear agreement. Under Armour has been the official outfitter of the Navy’s varsity intercollegiate athletic programs since 2014.

“The Naval Academy Athletics Association has one of the largest athletic programs in the country with 36 varsity intercollegiate teams. Their commitment to developing Midshipmen morally, mentally and physically perfectly aligns with Under Armour’s grit and determination to make athletes better,” Under Armour said in a media release.

“We are incredibly honored to continue to outfit Navy Athletics. Their student-athletes display the highest level of dedication in the sports world, a focus we’ve had since our founding almost 30 years ago,” commented Sean Eggert, SVP of Global Sports Marketing at Under Armour, Inc.

“As a brand rooted in performance products, we are able to give the Midshipmen an edge to feel, look and perform their best. And as the future leaders of America, we proudly support our service members working toward a stronger, safer world,” continued Eggert.

“On behalf of 36 varsity sport programs and 1,400 teammates, our immeasurable gratitude to Kevin Plank, his staff and the entire Under Armour enterprise for this historic commitment to Navy Athletics, every varsity athlete at Navy will continue to be the beneficiaries of Under Armour equipment and apparel that represents the cutting edge in competitive technology and active sportswear,” offered Chet Gladchuk, director of athletics, U.S. Naval Academy.

“Our athletes deserve the most innovative product in the business and our partnership ensures they will take the fields of competition with pride and confidence in the look, style and performance of the industry’s best,” continued Gladchuk.
