Kizik announced it has hired Andreas Harlow as senior vice president of design. For the past three years, Harlow has been the VP and Global footwear creative director for Jordan Brand.

Harlow worked at Nike for 22 years, most recently in roles that included VP and footwear creative director, multi-category VP and footwear creative director, Nike running, and core performance. He also supported the Nike design team in sportswear and basketball.

Harlow will lead the design and development of Kizik’s product lines.

“We’re thrilled to have Andreas on board at such an exciting time for the brand,” said Monte Deere, CEO of Kizik. “His impressive track record in the global footwear industry, combined with his passion for innovation, makes him the perfect fit as we continue to revolutionize hands-free shoes. Andreas’ leadership will be pivotal as we scale and bring fresh, forward-thinking designs to our customers.”

Harlow stated, “I’m incredibly excited to join the Kizik team at such a transformative time for the brand. Kizik has an incredible cache of innovation and intellectual property that can improve and transform the footwear experience. I look forward to bringing my passion for innovation and design excellence to the brand, and I’m excited to help elevate Kizik to new heights in the global footwear industry.”

Harlow’s hiring follows recent leadership hires the company has made in the last year, including Gretchen Weimer, formerly global VP of product at Hoka, as chief merchandising officer and Elizabeth Drori, former chief marketing officer at Sperry, as chief marketing officer.

The hands-free footwear brand also opened five new stores in 2024, expanded partnerships with Nordstrom and Amazon, and expanded international distribution across Japan, Canada, the UK, Italy, France, Taiwan, and Southeast Asia.
