Mount to Coast, a running footwear start-up based in Hong Kong, named Doug Rosenberg as its U.S. country manager. Most recently, Rosenberg was the director of global footwear business and strategic sourcing at Brooks Running.
At Brooks, he oversaw the creation of the company’s footwear sourcing strategy and costing process to improve product quality and profitability through factory partnerships, business planning and strategic negotiations. Prior to Brooks, Rosenberg worked for Gap Inc. on international strategy and e-commerce.
“As a passionate runner, I’m grateful for the opportunity to help build Mount to Coast’s wholesale business strategy and help launch a remarkably innovative and unique brand,” said Rosenberg. “I spent the best years of my career in this space, and I’m eager to reconnect with the fast-growing running industry community. I look forward to supporting our retail partners with education regarding Mount to Coast’s products and sales opportunities that will ultimately benefit all runners in their goals, long distance or otherwise.”
