X-Bionic, the Swiss-engineered apparel and gear brand for performance sports, has launched in the North American market with a new team and offices at Battery 621 in Denver, CO.

Kris Kuster, the company’s President and Co-Owner, leads its North American team. An outdoor and snow sports industry veteran, Kuster formerly worked for Nitro Snowboard and Mammut Sports Group.

The company said in a media release that it “aims to redefine the standards of athletic wear for both professional athletes and sports enthusiasts through its science-based innovations in apparel and footwear construction and is supported by a team of industry veterans with decades of experience in sportswear design, manufacturing and marketing.”

X-Bionic has contracted with Global Sales Guys, led by Marty Carrigan and Dave Rosenberger, for sales representation across the market.

In a media release, X-Bionic said, “GSG has built and represented premium European brands in the U.S. and Canada for over 30 years. With the guidance of Carrigan and Rosenberger’s team, X-Bionic is working to establish itself in key and specialty retailers, including general sports emphasizing run and snow.”

The company also hired former World Cup alpine ski racer and Olympian Heidi Voelker as head of key partnerships. Voelker has held previous positions, including ambassador of skiing at Deer Valley Resort for almost three decades and western region manager with the U.S. Ski Team.

“X-Bionic inked a deal with the Park City Ski and Snowboard Team as the first official North American ski-industry partner to be representing X-Bionic, focusing on award-winning engineered socks and base layers for product positioning,” the company noted.
