In June, L.L.Bean announced plans to open four new retail stores in 2024, including its first store in Indiana, underscoring its omnichannel growth strategy. Last week, the retailer’s Enfield, CT store officially opened in Brookside Plaza.

The store is the retailer’s third in the state. The other stores are in South Windsor and Danbury, CN, respectively.

“Our four 2024 store openings represent a significant step forward in our commitment to making L.L.Bean’s exceptional outdoor gear, apparel and footwear accessible to a broader audience,” said Greg Elder, chief retail officer at L.L.Bean. “As we continue to expand our retail footprint beyond New England, we are eager to strengthen our connection with customers and communities across the country, enabling more people to experience the restorative power of time outside.”

L.L.Bean, a Maine-based corporation founded in 1912, operates over 40 retail stores and factory outlets in the United States, including over two dozen stores in Canada and Japan.
