Silencer Central has added Joe Kurtenbach to its marketing team as senior manager of media and relationships.
In a media release, the retailer and manufacturer said that Kurtenbach is “the primary point of contact for industry and media inquiries, working directly with ambassadors, influencers, writers, publishers, and industry partners.
“Reporting on the firearms industry for more than a dozen years, I’ve had the pleasure of learning about iconic American manufacturing brands, meeting the people that make them go, and testing the products that represent the next generation of ballistic innovation,” said Kurtenbach. “No company has challenged the status quo as boldly as Silencer Central. Whether it’s a question of process or product, Silencer Central is constantly working toward ‘faster’ and ‘better’ in everything it does. Kurtenbach, a U.S. Army veteran, reportedly brings 13 years of industry experience to his new role. Previously, he was a senior editor at American Rifleman and Guns & Ammo, which included print, digital and television production, and cultivated “a wide network of contributors and industry professionals.”
