Coolcore announced that Eric Schenker has joined the company as chief executive officer and majority owner. Previously, he was the CEO of Craft Sportswear NA, a performance apparel manufacturer.

“I am thrilled to join Coolcore at such a pivotal time in the apparel market,” said Schenker. “I’ve spent the past 20 years leading a company where thermal regulation in fabrics was critical to our business. I’ve seen thousands of textiles presented, and I’ve never been more excited about the convergence of innovation and sustainability in a category,” he added.

Coolcore manufactures patented chemical-free cooling technology tested by third-party labs to ensure performance under extreme conditions. Disney, Nike, Orvis, Carhartt, Kerrits, to name a few. use the company’s fabrics, offering thermoregulation in various applications, including sports apparel, workwear and first responder uniforms. 

Coolcore received the Innovative Technology Award from the Hohenstein Institute for fabric performance and innovation. Its in-house R&D team continually “explores new trends and pushes the boundaries of fabric technology, ensuring Coolcore remains at the forefront of the industry.”
