Moving Comfort, the maker of sports bras and women’s fitness apparel,  donated over $15,000 to Girls in the Game and Bright Pink through their 2009 “Support Your Girls” program.

“As a brand we are committed to encouraging women to get fit and stay healthy,” said Julie Baxter, Vice President, Moving Comfort. “We are thrilled to donate to these two fantastic charities that demonstrate that same commitment to young woman and girls.”

Moving Comfort’s Support Your Girls campaign launched in Spring 2009 with the donation of five dollars to Girls in the Game for each cornflower or pomegranate “Support Your Girls” tee sold. Girls in the Game provides and promotes sports and fitness opportunities, nutrition and health education and leadership development to enhance the overall health and well being of girls aged six to eighteen.

In honor or October National Breast Cancer Awareness month, Moving Comfort continued their Support Your Girls program in Fall 2009 with the introduction of pink tees to benefit Bright Pink (www.bebrightpink.org). Bright Pink is a national non-profit organization that strives to enlighten and empower high risk, young women to take control of their breast and ovarian health by providing education, support and a sense of community for a better, brighter future.
