The Buckle, Inc. reported that comparable store net sales for the 5-week period ended July 6 decreased 5.7 percent from comparable store net sales for the 5-week period ended July 8, 2023. The decline comes on top of a 2.4 percent comp sales decline in the 2023 June period.
Net sales for the month decreased 5.8 percent year-over-year to $101.7 million.
Comparable store net sales year-to-date for the 22-week period ended July 6 decreased 8.0 percent from comparable store net sales for the 22-week period ended July 8, 2023. Net sales for the year-to-date period decreased 7.1 percent year-over-year to $446.2 million.
Due to the 53rd week in fiscal 2023, comparable store net sales for the month and year-to-date periods are compared to the 5-week and 22-week periods ended July 8, 2023.
