Retrospec is recalling about 530 Beaumont Plus ST bikes. The front disc brake rotor and brake pads on the bike could be misaligned, posing a crash hazard. No injuries have been reported.
The 530 Beaumont Plus ST was sold at bike stores nationwide from February 2024 through March 2024 for about $400.
The company recall involves the Beaumont Plus ST City Bike Step-Thru frame bike with disc brakes sold in bluebell (blue), eggshell (white) and mint (green) colors. “Retrospec” is printed on the frame, and the company’s “R” logo is on the front fork.
Consumers are encouraged to stop riding the recalled bike model and return it to the original authorized dealer or go here for free installation of a new front fork.
