As the longtime CEO, Dan Santorum is departing the Professional Tennis Registry (PTR). During his 40-year tenure, he has seen membership increase from an organization of 2,500 members in 68 countries to one with more than 16,500 members in 125 countries.
Santorum represents PTR at industry events and conferences and has personally conducted more than 400 PTR workshops on six continents in 46 countries and 225 cities. In 1999, he became the first person to conduct courses for tennis teachers in all 50 US states.
Lynne Rolley, PTR Board Chair, stated, “We are so grateful for all Dan has done to bring PTR to its current state. Over the years, Dan has worked for PTR, the organization has grown to over 20,000 members in various sports. Dan has been a rich source of vision and knowledge, and we appreciate his service. ”

There have been so many people and so many moments that have made my years at PTR an incredible journey. As Dan embarks on this new chapter, we express our deepest gratitude for his service and wish him the very best in his future endeavors, said PTR.
PTR plans to begin a search for a new CEO. In the interim, Karl Hale, former PTR Board Chair, will assume the CEO role as PTR works through the search process.
