The Sports Authority will begin selling Nintendo products, including videogaming consoles and the Wii Fit and Wii Fit Plus games. TSA has been in talks with Nintendo for the past six months and decided to carry the game console, “to shift the paradigm and shake up the treadmill and sporting-goods business.”
Select TSA stores will begin publicizing the tagline “We know fit. We know fun” and will sell Wii products and feature the games in dedicated areas. Fitness trainers will be on hand to help customers try them out.
