Firearms component maker Microbest, Inc. hired Will Brown as chief operating officer. He has extensive experience in manufacturing, change management, and systems and processes.

“Will Brown has a proven track record of developing and implementing manufacturing systems that drive operational efficiencies, resulting in a better overall customer experience,” said Shaun Gaus, CEO of Microbest. “His deep understanding of lean manufacturing, operational efficiencies and quality control systems will be invaluable as we continue to expand our product portfolio and manufacturing capabilities.”

Brown’s most recent role was as site leader/director of operations for the PLZ Corp.’s 100,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Fall River, MA. Before joining PLZ Corp, he held senior positions at Honeywell, Tegra and Smith’s Medical. 

Brown began his career in the U.S. Army, serving in the Air Defense and Military Police Corps.

“Understanding the markets that Microbest serves, specifically personal connection to the military and law enforcement generates a level of excitement for me within this role to drive superior quality and value to our customers,” Brown commented.
