Compass Diversified (CODI), owner of Velocity Outdoor, BOA, Primaloft, 5.11, and other active lifestyle brands, has promoted investment team members Raj Dalal, Lucas Scholhamer and Phoebe Madsen.

Raj Dalal Promoted to Partner from Principal
As a partner, Dalal will reportedly lead the investment team at the firm’s West Coast office, responsible for originating and evaluating new investment opportunities, executing transactions and working with subsidiaries across the branded consumer and niche industrials sectors. He is a director of Altor Solutions, Ergobaby and Lugano Diamonds and works with 5.11 Tactical, BOA and Sterno. Over his career at CODI, Dalal has worked on several divestitures, including Fox Factory, Manitoba Harvest and Advanced Circuits. Before joining the firm in 2012 as an associate, Dalal was in the Investment Banking Division of Bank of America Merrill Lynch in Los Angeles, CA. He graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles and Harvard Business School.
Lucas Scholhamer Promoted to Principal from Vice President
Scholhamer is a member of the investment team at the firm’s East Coast office. He is a director of Sterno and works with PrimaLoft and Velocity Outdoor. He was a key deal team member on several successful divestitures including Clean Earth, Liberty Safe, and Marucci Sports. Before joining CODI in 2016 as an associate, Scholhamer was in the Investment Banking Division of Deloitte Corporate Finance working in the Mergers & Acquisitions Group in Charlotte, NC. Scholhamer is a graduate of Vanderbilt University.
Phoebe Madsen Promoted to Senior Associate from Associate
Madsen is a member of the investment team at the firm’s West Coast office. Her current subsidiaries include 5.11 Tactical and Lugano Diamonds. Before joining CODI in 2022, Madsen worked at BDT Capital Partners in Chicago. Madsen is a graduate of Claremont McKenna College.
