Snow Peak Long Beach Campfield, an extension of Japanese camping brand Snow Peak, will open in early 2024 as the brand’s first campground in the U.S.
Situated on Washington’s Long Beach Peninsula, Snow Peak Long Beach Campfield 25 acres is located between Seattle and Portland, offering 56 tent sites and 14 Jyubako suites (camping cabins) in addition to a camp store, gear rentals, wash house, and Japanese Ofuro Spa opening in late spring.

We look forward to opening our doors to what will be our 12th global location and welcoming campers of all experience levels to the Long Beach Campfield.”
Construction of the campgrounds honors the environment, restoring four acres of onsite wetlands, bolstering the ecosystem and improving its ecological value. Snow Peak sourced, milled, and heat-treated yakisugi, a wall and ceiling cladding material made from Japanese cypress, from Nakamoto Forestry. Nakamoto’s Hinoki, Sugi Unoiled and Gendai products were sustainably harvested and used in the buildout for the campsite, Gatehouse, and Ofuro Spa.
EFA Architects of Long Beach, WA, led the architectural design, interior design by North45, landscape design by Knot Studio, both of Portland, OR, and project execution by Helligso Construction of Astoria, OR.
The campfield will open in February 2024. Reservations are available from February through May 29, 2024. In early 2024, Snow Peak will add inventory and has a grand opening planned for early summer 2024.
