Specialized protective equipment company G8RTech, Inc. appointed Andrew Saleh, MD, MPH, to its Medical Advisory Committee.
The company’s first product, G8RSkin, invented by G8RTech Founder and CEO Carter Hogg, is a specialized balaclava-like shell that goes under football helmets. Having completed rigorous testing at the Virginia Tech Helmet Lab, G8RSkin PPE has been shown to reduce the risk of concussion through its proprietary design.
Dr. Andrew Saleh is the head medical team physician for the American Hockey League’s San Diego Gulls, Major League Rugby’s San Diego Legion and United Soccer League’s San Diego Loyal. He was previously integral to the medical teams for the NFL’s San Diego Chargers and the Baltimore Ravens.
