Foundation Outdoor Group, the seller of fishing rod and tackle gear based in Oviedo, FL, opened a European headquarters and distribution center called Outdoor Group Europe AB in Halmstad, Sweden to spearhead growth in the region.
Foundation Outdoor Group represents Mud Hole Custom Tackle, American Tackle, MHX, Custom Rod Builder (CRB), ProProducts, ThreadMaster, and FishHawk brands.
Heading its international headquarters is VP of Operations Gary Benney, who previously worked as European branch manager for American Tackle.
Brook Oliva, president and COO of Foundation Outdoor Group, said, “This expansion is indicative of our commitment to grow the global presence of Foundation Outdoor Group. The new headquarters is at Muskotvagen 7, 302 62 Halmstad, and is a 2,100 square meter (22,604 square feet) facility positioned to facilitate international distribution and access to intermodal distribution channels within Europe.
The headquarters will also showcase the company’s fishing and outdoor recreation product lines, house executive and sales offices, warehousing, and a distribution center.
