General RV Center, the family-owned RV dealer based in Wixom, MI, promoted Nicole Akers from sales associate to sales manager.
Akers joined the company in 2020, working as a sales associate at its Dover Supercenter. In 2021, she was honored with the Towables Rookie of the Year award General RV gives employees who “demonstrate top performance and customer service in their first full year of employment.” In 2022, Akers received the Motorhome Rookie of the Year award.
“Nicole’s interaction with our customers always impresses—her professionalism, attention to detail, positive attitude, and personal connection enable her to help customers at the highest level to find their perfect RV,” said Bob Green, General RV sales director. “As General RV’s first female sales manager, Nicole’s promotion marks a significant milestone for our team and sets a path for other female leaders like her to follow.”

General RV operates 15 full-service dealerships in Michigan, Illinois, Ohio, Virginia, Florida, Utah, and Pennsylvania. The company broke ground on a second RV location in Utah and its first in North Carolina. Both will open in late 2024.
