Kryptek Outdoor Group, the tactical and hunting apparel brand, hired Tim Piver as chief operations officer. Piver brings 30 years of leadership to the role spanning sales, marketing, management, product design, development, logistics, and brand building.
After his previous tenure in the hunting and fishing sector, where he had multiple experiences as a guide, outfitter, TV show producer, and product developer, Piver helped launch the snowmobile product company 509, now a Polaris entity. During his time at distributor, Western Power Sports, he held leadership roles across various business segments, including in the expansion and success of Fly Racing, Highway 21 and SP1, among others, and also contributed to the growth of Bell Helmets.
As COO, Piver is responsible for creating and executing new business strategies to enhance global brand recognition through the introduction of innovative products to existing and new customers and amplifying Kryptek’s adventure lifestyle presence.
“Piver’s integration into the Kryptek brand is significant. In the years to come, I am confident that we will be able to look back and say, ‘That is a result of Piver!’ He is an exceptional cultural fit with real-world credibility and has a vast amount of success in adjacent outdoor brands,” said Kryptek CEO and co-founder, Butch Whiting.
“The privilege to collaborate with a brand like Kryptek and contribute significantly alongside a remarkable team is immensely rewarding. I am enthusiastic about the collective achievements we can realize,” said Piver. “Having grown up hunting, fishing, practicing archery and handling firearms, I’ve been lucky to intertwine my passions with my profession in a meaningful manner. Kryptek is an ideal match at the perfect juncture, and I couldn’t be more thrilled to be a part of it.”
