The Rossignol Group announced the following promotions and additions to its Nordic division.
Jeff Courter, previous Nordic category manager for North America, was promoted to global technical product manager for the Nordic division. Courter will be based from the Group’s global headquarters in St-Jean-de-Moirans, France and participate in the global development of Rossignol’s Nordic collections, which includes emerging and adjacent new categories for the Group. Courter is an industry veteran with over two decades of experience across Nordic, running, and outdoor product development and commercial viability globally.
Evan Pengelly replaced Courter as the Group’s Nordic category manager for North America. Pengelly began working for the Rossignol brand in 2006 as a tech rep and competitive Nordic athlete, moving on to U.S. Nordic race manager from 2015 to 2019 and again from 2021 until August 1, 2023, when he was appointed commercial and category lead for the North American market.
Foss Kerker joined the Group in a joint role as Nordic race/product coordinator for the U.S. based in Park City, UT. Growing up in Minneapolis, he raced with the Loppet Nordic Racing Team, then collegiately at Colby College and trained with the BSF program in Bozeman, MT.
In Canada, Etienne Letondeur continues as Nordic race manager, starting his role in June 2022. He is also the head coach for the Canadian Biathlon Training Center at the Whistler Olympic Park.
Jacques Vincent is also continuing in his role for the brand and Nordic category in Canada. An almost 30-year veteran of the Group, Vincent has been instrumental in growing the Nordic business throughout his tenure, including his involvement in Nordic competition, regional and global product development and driving strategic commercial growth as the Nordic sales manager in Canada. As Vincent transitions to retirement, he is consulting and supporting commercial and category leads Denis Leclaire, WSE sales director, Canada, and Pengelly, on a seasonal basis.
