Christy Sports rebranded its SkiBonkers sales event to Powder Daze at the Sturtevant’s store in the Pacific Northwest. Previously, the retailer had run ski season kick-off sales under branded campaigns in Colorado and Washington. For 2023, it streamlined its approach by unifying all locations nationwide under Powder Daze.
Powder Daze, for skiers and snowboarders, begins on August 25 and runs through Labor Day at Christy Sports stores in Littleton, Dillon, West Vail, Steamboat, Colorado, and Sturtevant’s in Bellevue, WA, and is accessible at ChristySports.com.
SkiBonkers in the Pacific Northwest dates back to 1978 and is the only pre-season event in the region.
“SkiBonkers has deep roots in the Pacific Northwest. The rebrand to Powder Daze represents more than just a name change. It symbolizes our commitment to unifying our offerings and experiences for ski and snowboard enthusiasts across the country,” said Kirk McEwan, PNW regional manager for Christy Sports. “The same exceptional deals, location and service that Sturtevant’s guests have come to appreciate will now be available under the Powder Daze banner.”
During the sale, Christy Sports consolidates ski and snowboard gear, clothing and accessories from its 65 stores in various states, including Colorado, Utah, Washington, New Mexico, and Montana.
