Stamina Products Inc., in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, has announced a voluntary recall of about 11,000 Elliptical Cross Trainers.
Stamina modified the warning/assembly instructions in the owner's manuals to emphasize that the elliptical pedal shafts must be securely tightened to the cranks. If not securely tightened, the pedal shafts could become loose from the cranks, which could result in serious injury to the user and/or damage to the product.
No injuries have been reported.
Consumers have been advised to stop using the recalled products immediately unless otherwise instructed.
