Riddell and USA Football, the sport’s U.S. governing body and a recognized sport organization of the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Committee, extended its partnership with a new three-year agreement.

As the official protective equipment partner of USA Football, Riddell will continue to advance youth football nationwide by helping support the Indianapolis-based non-profit’s annual grant program, which will award up to $2 million in equipment and other resources to deserving programs in 2023.

USA Football and Riddell established a partnership in 2009, marking Riddell’s first with a sports U.S. governing body and its most significant into youth football.

“We’re pleased to renew our partnership with USA Football as part of our continued commitment to growing and improving the game with our industry-leading protective equipment and innovations,” said Riddell President and CEO Dan Arment. “Our partnership, which extends more than a decade, continues to enhance the football experience for athletes and their families as we work in tandem to promote the latest in smart helmet technology and inform the community about reconditioning services, educational programs and coaching techniques.”

“As an industry leader in player protection, Riddell is a vital member of the football community,” said USA Football CEO Scott Hallenbeck. “We’re proud to continue our long-standing relationship with Riddell. Through our partnership, we have delivered thousands of pieces of protective football equipment to youth programs across the country. Our shared commitment ensures young athletes can enjoy the game of football with industry-leading equipment.”

Since 2006, in partnership with Riddell, USA Football has awarded more than $17 million in grants to youth and school-based football programs, which has directly benefitted youth and high school players across 9,500 programs in all 50 states and Washington, D.C.
