McDavid Sports Medicine announced their partnership with sports public relations firms, 180 Communications, in an effort to increase its media presence. McDavid noted that the hiring comes as its latest technology, HexPad,
is being used by more than half of the players in this year’s NBA
championship games.

“Our number one priority is to develop innovative products and technologies to help prevent injury and enhance the performance of athletes,” said Rey Corpuz, Director of Marketing for McDavid, “but the technology is useless to an athlete in need who does not know our product even exists. That’s where 180 comes in.”
