Five Iron Golf is opening in Cincinnati, marking its 18th location nationwide and the first in Ohio.

The venue will open May 5 at 80 W. Fifth Street in The Foundry, Cincinnati Center City Development Corp.’s (3CDC) $51 million mixed-use development of Fountain Place, previously home to a Macy’s department store.

Encompassing approximately 13,000 square feet of street-level space in the Cincinnati’s central business district, Five Iron Golf Cincinnati expands the brand’s Midwest footprint, including three Chicago and one suburban Michigan locations.

Five Iron reported it is developing venues in Detroit, Cleveland and Indianapolis, with more to follow by 2024.

The latest Cincinnati venue features thirteen simulators powered by TrackMan Golf, with multiple high-speed cameras capturing golf swing angles in each bay. The space also includes widescreen televisions, leisure games and a full-service restaurant.

Timed with the opening, Five Iron Golf Cincinnati announced it partnered with The Greater Cincinnati Golf Association (GCGA), offering discounts to its members and will be recognized as an official GCGA Club, where players of all skill levels can join GCGA and house their handicap index through Five Iron Golf Cincinnati.

Five Iron Golf was founded in New York City in 2017 and has expanded to Chicago, Baltimore, Las Vegas, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Washington, D.C., and Seattle.
