StockX intends to close its authentication center in Portland, OR according to a report from Complex.
“Following a record year in 2022, we continue to evaluate our network efficiency and rebalance trades between our authentication facilities around the world, consolidating where it makes sense,” said StockX. “As a dynamic, global business, we will continuously assess our strategy to deliver a best-in-class experience for buying and selling the world’s most coveted products.”
StockX has four additional authentication centers in the U.S.—Detroit, Atlanta, West Caldwell, NJ, and Tempe, AZ—and nine international locations. StockX opened an authentication center in Mexico City in January 2023.
StockX’s Portland authentication center opened in 2000, the smallest facility in its network at 10,000 square feet.
