K-Swiss reported it signed on as a sponsor of the 2023 inaugural Pickleball Slam on April 2 at the Hard Rock Live at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, FL.
As a sponsor, K-Swiss will provide footwear and apparel for the Pickleball Slam and amateur Pickleball Slam referees and ball handlers.
Created and produced by Horizon Sports & Experiences (HS&E) and InsideOut Sports & Entertainment (ISE), the Pickleball Slam will feature tennis legends John McEnroe, Andre Agassi, Andy Roddick, and Michael Chang competing for $1 million. This event will be televised live on ESPN.
“We are excited to sponsor and partner for the 2023 Inaugural Pickleball Slam. We support the sport of tennis, as well as the growing and popular sport of pickleball,” said David Malinowski, director of Tennis for K-Swiss.
The Pickleball Slam will be preceded by the Amateur Pickleball Slam Challenge on March 31 and April 1, featuring top amateur teams of two competing for $10,000. The winners can compete against the tennis legends on April 1.
