Rab and Lowe Alpine hired industry veteran Adam Chamberlain as U.S. Country Manager responsible for domestic operations in the United States.
Chamberlain joins the company after five years as a U.S. sales manager and the first U.S.-based employee at Norrøna Sport. During his over 20-year career, he has been vice president of Marketing at Black Diamond and in various roles with Patagonia.
Chamberlain, who will work from Louisville, CO, was first introduced to the Lowe Alpine line of gear during a summer outdoor education course in Alaska in 1993, which kickstarted a decades-long interest in the outdoors and the performance gear created by Rab, Lowe Alpine and parent company, Equip.
Chamberlain takes over the U.S. Country Manager position from Jon Frederick, who held the position for nearly five years and was promoted to group marketing director for Equip U.K. in February 2023.
“We are excited to have Adam joining the Equip U.S. team. Adam is a respected industry veteran with the unique perspective of managing an international business in the U.S.,” Frederick said. “Adam’s extensive experience in both sales and marketing will help him steer our dynamic Colorado team as they continue their efforts in specialty retail support and consumer engagement.”
