Protective eyewear brand Wiley X announced changes to its senior leadership structure. Co-Owners and brothers Myles, Jr. and Dan Freeman will retain senior leadership positions, with Dan Freeman stepping into the role of company CEO.

Myles Jr. will focus on the brand’s international growth, working from the company’s headquarters in Frisco, TX, and its Denmark office to focus on the EMEA region, a growth market for the brand. He will also lead the company’s philanthropic efforts.

Wiley X hired Spencer Mitchell as CFO. He has extensive experience in finance and operations, having worked for Niemann Marcus and Palomar Beverage Company.

The company also hired eyewear industry veteran Aaron Quigley as senior vice president of sales, with previous experience as a consultant for various action sports and fashion brands and over a decade at Oakley.

“We couldn’t be more excited to implement these changes to our senior leadership structure,” said Myles, Jr. Freeman. “My close working relationship with Dan and our shared vision for the company will ensure a seamless transition into this new executive team with two key new hires.”

He added, “These moves are a positive step for Wiley X and its future success. The end goal, as always, will be to provide the absolute best premium product and service to our customers in new and existing markets.”
