Royal Robbins has hired Kiwi Outdoor Representation to cover its northwest territory which includes Alaska, Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Montana.
Kiwi Outdoor Representation is a Portland-based rep group established in 2003. Agency founder Kiwi Dave Cockburn started in the outdoor industry in his native New Zealand with iconic outdoor gear manufacturer 'Fairydown', and brings 12 years of sales experience to the job. Cockburn came to the U.S. on a climbing trip in 1999 and later founded Kiwi Outdoor in 2003.
“We are excited to have Kiwi Dave back with Royal Robbins,” said Jud Taylor, director of sales and marketing, Royal Robbins. “He has always had great relationships with our retailers and he knows the brand very well from being a rep for Royal Robbins in the past. We will be well represented in the Northwest.”
Also working with Kiwi Outdoor are Joe Munk and Annie Nielsen, both Oregon natives. All three are active in the outdoors and can often be found playing on the snow, the water, climbing some rock, or riding the trails.
