After 19 years as an independent operation, Kelly Running Warehouse has officially been absorbed by its parent company, Road Runner Sports. The move aims to streamline operations by rebranding the discount outlet as Road Runner Sports Runner’s Outlet.
Kelly’s Running Warehouse was founded in 2003 with a focus on discount sales.
“We named Kelly’s Running Warehouse after my sister, so it holds a special place in my heart,” said Michael Gotfredson, president, Road Runner Sports. “For nearly 20 years, it was the best place to find incredible prices on running shoes. Now is the right time to bring it into the Road Runner Sports fold.”
Since 1983, Road Runner Sports’ portfolio includes 44 stores in 12 states and an e-commerce site. Kelly’s Running Warehouse officially rebranded to Road Runner Sports Runner’s Outlet.
