Beyond Yoga, acquired by Levi Strauss in September 2021 for $400 million, is opening its first store in Santa Monica, CA.
The 4,000-square-foot space, scheduled to open on September 28, was a former Levi’s location, is at the Third Street Promenade, near the Santa Monica Place shopping center, according to WWD.
Another location will open at the Irvine Spectrum Center, south of Los Angeles, with further expansion expected for 2023.
“There are more stores planned for next year, and they will be on the West Coast,” Michelle Wahler, co-founder and CEO, Beyond Yoga, told the news outlet. “We are focused on California first because that is in our backyard and where a large number of customers are focused.”
