American Outdoor Brands, Inc. announced that Arturo Del Rio had joined the company as vice president of human resources and chief people officer.

In this newly created role, Del Rio will oversee global human resources for the company. He will be responsible for developing and implementing human capital strategies, including recruiting, training, development, performance management, compensation, diversity and inclusion initiatives.

Del Rio has over 24 years of HR experience in the United States and Mexico. He most recently worked as global HR director at Ferro Corporation, a global producer of technology-based performance materials for manufacturers. Before that, he worked for Parker Hannifin Corporation, a manufacturer of motion and control technologies based in Cleveland, OH for ten years culminating as divisional HR manager for its Parflex Division, PR Division and Polymer Innovation (R&D) Center. He began his career with FEMSA Group in Toluca, Mexico, where he worked for six years as HR Manager for its Packaging Group.
