Bass Pro Shops plans to open a Family Health Center this fall, offering health care services for Bass Pro Shop employees and their families in the Springfield region.
The facility will be housed in the former Greyhound Station situated adjacent to the company’s national headquarters.
“We are excited to deliver the best and most convenient health care available to our Ozarks area outfitters and their families,” Bass Pro Shops founder Johnny Morris said. “We are grateful for the continued hard work and dedication of the ‘World’s Foremost Outfitters.’ We hope that the facility will provide benefit and peace of mind for our people and their families for many years to come.”
Inspired by Morris’ visits to Toyota and Swarovski Optik’s headquarters, the center will offer primary care, preventative wellness and treatment of acute and chronic conditions covering employees and dependents ages two and older. The facility will be staffed with physicians and pharmacists with a drive-through for prescriptions.
Bass Pro Shops is partnering with Premise Health, a provider that runs more than 600 clinics in 44 states in the clinic operation. Premise Health’s clients include Disney, Walgreens, Toyota, and Capital One.
