The Coleman Company Inc. has named Michael Bach VP of sales with responsibility for leading the field sales team and the food/drug and home channels.
Bach brings a proven record of driving above-plan results in both entrepreneurial and large-company environments. He has a rigorous understanding of consumer products groups, honed by experience at Proctor and Gamble and Coca-Cola in the U.S. and Southern Africa, at Management Ventures, Inc. (MVI), and at his own consulting firm.
Most recently, Bach was COO responsible for global business units at MVI, a business-plan development and execution solution provider; and previously with the firm, he had been GM-EVP of the facilitated products group. He was managing partner at Bach and Partners LLC; and was director-channel/customer marketing for Coca-Cola in South Africa.
At The Minute Maid Company, he was managing director-channel development and director of Wal-Mart business. Bach began his career at Proctor and Gamble Distributing Company, where he was salesman of the year, and took on assignments of increasing responsibilities in unit manager roles.
