Dreams, Inc., which owns the FansEdge website and chain, has acquired the assets of StarStruck/ProTeam, a catalog-focused retailer in the sports licensed products industry. Star Struck/ProTeam is one of the largest catalog and Internet retailers of licensed Major League and Minor League merchandise in the country. The company also produces the Official Catalog for The Mets.
According to the company, StarStrucks catalog and e-commerce business will now be able to leverage a wide product offering and more robust e-commerce platform.
The catalogs contain a vast array of products ranging from core items such as caps and jerseys to a wide range of collectibles. In addition to the print catalogs, Star Struck/ProTeam also has a significant Internet presence.
