Following a 14-year professional baseball career, Jay Bruce has purchased a full ownership stake in Sure-Shot Game Calls. The company manufacturers over two dozen game calls for waterfowl, predator, deer, and turkey.
A three-time All-Star and two-time Silver Slugger Award winner, Bruce is also an experienced outdoorsman passionate for waterfowl hunting. Under his leadership, Sure-Shot Game Calls will continue its legacy of more than 60 years and is developing new calls scheduled to be released at retail in 2022.
Bruce will also infuse revitalized energy to the brand and products with an updated logo, website, apparel, and headwear.
“Sure-Shot has been part of the fabric of the hunting community of Southeast Texas for more than 60 years, and I’m really excited to become part of the brand’s legacy,” said Bruce. “My main focus is to maintain the elite craftsmanship of our products while introducing the brand to the next generation of hunters.”
