Himali, a Boulder-based start-up specializing in mountain apparel, has opened its first store on the Pearl Street Mall at 1418 Pearl Street, according to the Daily Camera.
Himali was founded in 2014 by Dave Schaeffer and legendary 13-time Everest summiteer and IFMGA climbing guide, Tendi Sherpa. In February 2021, Ed Viesturs, the renowned mountaineer, joined the company as a partner, athlete and designer.
“We’ve been selling direct-to-consumer online for over seven years and could not be more excited to be opening our first-ever brick-and-mortar flagship store in our hometown of Boulder,” Schaeffer said in a statement.
The store’s grand opening will run from October 21-24.
