Warnaco's Swimwear Group, which includes Speedo and Calvin Klein swimwear, plans to relocate its headquarters to downtown Los Angeles from Commerce, CA in September 2008. Warnaco signed a long-term lease for two floors totaling 38,000 square feet of office space on the full-service entertainment campus of Los Angeles Center Studios (LACS).


The site developers said Warnaco was attracted to the central location that offered its employees a creative work environment, access to public transportation and a choice of amenities located on-site and within walking distance.


“Our creative self-sufficient environment is what drew Warnaco Swimwear Inc. to the studio lot,” said Sam Nicassio, president of LACS.

The Warnaco Swimwear Group has signed a long term lease for two floors totaling approximately 38,000 square feet of office space on the full-service entertainment campus of Los Angeles Center Studios (LACS). It plans to relocate its Swimwear Group headquarters to downtown Los Angeles in September, 2008. Its current headquarters are in Commerce, CA.



“Warnaco is very excited about moving to Downtown Los Angeles and Los Angeles Center Studios. At the outset of the project, Warnaco communicated its interest in securing a central location that offered its employees a creative work environment, access to public transportation and a choice of amenities located on-site and within walking distance. Los Angeles Center Studios satisfied all these requirements,” said Roy Longman and David Callahan of CresaPartners.



“Los Angeles Center Studios is excited to add Warnaco swimwear to the Tower Building. Our creative self-sufficient environment is what drew Warnaco Swimwear Inc. to the studio lot. We continue to offer an outstanding entertainment campus atmosphere in the heart of downtown Los Angeles,” said Sam Nicassio, President of LACS.
