Wolverine World Wide Inc. appointed William Brown to the position of president of the Heritage Brands Group, effective May 30. The group includes the Harley-Davidson, Caterpillar and Sebago brands.
Brown, 59, will report to Blake Krueger, president and CEO of Wolverine. Most recently, Brown was president of international for the Heritage Brands Group. He's been with the company more than 21 years and has held a variety of leadership roles.
In a company statement released last Friday, Krueger said, “Bill's extensive experience with the portfolio of Wolverine World Wide brands, particularly the last four years leading the international initiatives of the Heritage Brands Group, will ensure that the Cat, Harley-Davidson and Sebago brands continue their positive momentum and global growth. Our Wolverine team is among the best in the industry, and I am confident in Bill's ability to lead our Heritage Brands group.”
