Wolverine World Wide today announced the appointment of Pamela L. Linton to the position of SVP, Human Resources. In this position, Linton will report directly to Blake W. Krueger, CEO and president.
 
Linton most recently served as SVP for the multi-national, $2.8 billion American Greetings Corp.  She has also served as VP of Global Human Resources for the multi-billion-dollar Alticor Corp., and held several senior human resources positions while at Lorin Industries and Baxter International.
 
Commenting on the appointment, Krueger stated, “Pam is an extremely capable and experienced senior human resource executive.  She has an extensive background in leading the human resource function for strong global organizations, and her experience matches up perfectly with Wolverine and our plans for continued global growth.  Our Wolverine World Wide associates are nearly 4700 strong in 20 countries around the globe.  Our team is among the best in the footwear and apparel industry, and we are confident that Pam’s leadership abilities will add to our executive talent and help take our organization to the next level.”

Linton holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Michigan State University.  She earned her Master of Business Administration from the Lake Forest Graduate School of Management in Lake Forest,  Ill.
