VF Corp. will make several changes to its management structure as incoming President and CEO Eric Wiseman takes the helm on January 1st. George Derhofer, 54, SVP – Global Operations, has decided to retire at the end of the year.
With Derhofers departure, effective January 1st, Ed Doran, president of VFs Imagewear coalition, and Boyd Rogers, VP and president – Supply Chain, will report directly to Wiseman. Martin Schneider, VP and chief information officer, who also reported to Derhofer, will report to Bob Shearer, SVP and CFO. There are no plans to name a successor to Derhofer.
To underscore its commitment to growing the direct-to-consumer business, Mike Gannaway, who has been serving as VP Customer Management, has been named VP – VF Direct/Customer Teams. In his new role, Mike will coordinate VFs retail and e:commerce strategies among VFs coalitions and assume responsibility for VFs Outlet division. He will also continue to guide VFs team-based customer strategies for growth. Accordingly, Steve Fritz, president of VFs Outlet division, will report to Gannaway.
“VF has an amazingly talented leadership team, and I believe the commitment, passion and integrity of our people truly give us a competitive advantage,“ said Wiseman. “The success we have enjoyed and will continue to enjoy is a direct consequence of a collaborative, team-based culture that is driven to succeed. I am confident that we have the leaders in place to ensure the ongoing success of our Growth Plan.“
