K2 and SkiEssentials.com have partnered to create an online, season-long lease program and home delivery service for parents to outfit their junior skiers and snowboarders with gear at a fraction of the cost of buying new.

Purchasing ski and snowboard gear can be difficult for families when faced with the reality that their kids may outgrow them after one season. Renting before hitting the slopes is time-consuming especially for families who don’t have a convenient local option.

The goal of the K2/Skiessentials.com online lease program is to offer a convenient gear solution. After placing an order SkiEssentials will contact the parent by phone to confirm the details of the equipment they want to lease for their kid(s). The one-on-one conversation also ensures that the gear matches both the child’s age and ability level.

The all-inclusive lease package includes return shipping at the end of the season. Multiple add-ons exist for parents who need to fully outfit their kid(s) including new helmets from K2 and goggles and apparel from other leading brands.
