The Buckle Inc. announced that comparable store net sales, for stores open at least one year, for the 5-week period ended October 3, 2020 increased 22.9 percent from comparable store net sales for the 5-week period ended October 5, 2019. Net sales for the 5-week fiscal month ended October 3, 2020 increased 22.7 percent to $94.9 million from net sales of $77.3 million for the prior year 5-week fiscal month ended October 5, 2019.
Comparable store net sales year-to-date for the 35-week period ended October 3, 2020 decreased 9.6 percent from comparable store net sales for the 35-week period ended October 5, 2019. Net sales for the 35-week fiscal period ended October 3, 2020 decreased 9.9 percent to $504.4 million from net sales of $559.6 million for the prior year 35-week fiscal period ended October 5, 2019.
