Mustang Survival, based in Burnaby, Canada, has merged with MTI Adventurewear, based in Plymouth, MA, in a merger of two paddlesports accessories companies.
Mustang Survival manufactures inflatable life jackets, flotation vests, work suits, immersion suits, dry suits, camo gear, snowmobile gear and accessories among others. Mustang Survival’s customers are primarily military, professional and recreation users.
MTI Adventurewear specializes in personal flotation devices for paddlesports – kayak, canoe, stand up paddleboard and sailing.
Mustang Survival said in a statement, “The merger between MTI and Mustang Survival allows us to enhance our collective offerings and become the trusted industry leader in waterlife recreation, with product that spans activities from off-shore sailing, angling, boating, and now in a much larger way, paddling.”
The company concluded, “As we team up, our commitment to the community of paddling will continue to grow. We are excited to create a larger sense of family, capture meaningful stories, and work alongside like-minded designers and ambassadors to deliver amazing experiences in paddlesports.”
